My Work Experience

Regarding the main client, a large international sporting brand, the most important project has been the back-end development and maintenance of the Order Management System, including the integration of several APIs (internal and external). It also consisted of a feature rich picking system built on top of Airtable that assisted the ops team handle all of the incoming e-commerce orders.

I also helped develop a tool which extracts information from various sources, aggregates them and sends the data to a data lake. Additionally I contributed automate processes for several teams within the company including operations, marketing and finances.

While most of the time I had been contributed individually, I also served as Tech Lead when needed. For example, when the client required us the most, we were about 6 people in the team and I ensured that all our work was coordinated and didn’t create any issues down the road. I supported all my colleagues and also helped from time to time to break down requirements for new projects.

Development of a matching app MVP that connects entrepreneurs within the Australian community. I had the opportunity to work on all aspects of the app, having a focus of my contributions to the back-end and the matching algorithm. We used Bubble as the front-end and developed the back-end using ExpressJS.

Prophero

I supported colleagues with the Prophero projects to mostly develop internal tools for the operation teams, in that sense, we used Airtable as front-end tool and developed most of the logic using NoCode/LowCode tools like Make and Zapier.

Stone & Chalk

Stone&Chalk, where I often support my colleague responsible of this project, on technical topics such as architectural decisions, Kafka, NodeJS and best practices. More recently I have also contributed with several Hubspot automations and the creation of some NodeJS endpoints.

And in general, I have been supporting the rest of the projects across the company while also gaining knowledge and practice of various technologies. Also having code reviews with team members to leverage each other’s expertise and validate best coding practices and ensure reliability of the system.

Working mainly with a development team on a project whose purpose was to manage the car fleet of multiple plants, focusing on UI/UX of the end users. Although I participated in the entire development cycle, my main contributions were with topics related to architecture and devops in general, also collaborating in the development of the back-end, front-end and cloud deployment through micro-services.

The tech stack consisted mainly of Quarkus for back-end development, VueJS for front-end development, PostgreSQL for database management, and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
